For nearly 12 years, Courtney Burris served as an Assistant District Attorney for San Francisco, and later as a Deputy District Attorney for Alameda County. During this time, she honed her skills handling a vast array of cases, from DUIs and burglaries to complex matters like sex assault, child abuse, human trafficking, and even homicide. Her extensive experience provides unique insight into the district attorney’s office, making her an invaluable asset in defending your criminal case.
A passion for civil rights & victim advocacy
Raised in a household dedicated to civil rights advocacy, Courtney's path was shaped by influential mentors in the judicial system. This upbringing ignited her passion to champion a fair and righteous criminal justice system, with a strong emphasis on victim rights advocacy. Most recently, she applies this dedication to Plaintiff’s civil law, with a particular focus on civil rights cases, fighting for those whose rights have been violated.
